Many horses by Ulft have won international shows. Ulft himself ranked in the top of the performance test for stallions; he was the first stallion ever to receive a 9 in dressage! Besides being a dressage talent, he was a great showjumper too. Ulft has produced 6 approved stallions of whom Ferro is the most notable. Ulft's offspring is recognized for their impressing gaits, especially the trot is said to be much improved with Ulft- influence. Ulft produces horses winning all over the world, international winners in both dressage and showjumping. |

Farn (by Fax I) was a Groninger stallion, imported at 3 years old from Holstein by the NWP (now KWPN). He is father of the Gelderlander keur-stallion Garant. In the first ten years after the KWPN was founded (and closing Sgldt and NWP studbooks) Farn only produced only one son was approved (Nimmerdor, Sire of the Century). Farn offspring are extremely good showjumpers. Farn is listed sixth on the jumping index with 146 points.
Argus is the only horse in the world to have simultaneously competed successfully at Grand Prix level jumping and FEI level dressage. Argus' sire, Pion is by the famous throughbred Abgar, who sired many notable jumping horses. As a KWPN aaproved stallion, Argus was exported to the USA immediately after his stallion performance test (where he finished 3rd out of 24) and remained in the states until the end of his sport career in 1993. In 1988 Argus sired more "Premium 1" foals than any other stallion in the US At the 1989 NaWPN keuring, Argus' sired 4 out of the top ten foals in North America, including 1st and 3rd. In two breeding seasons, Argus' jumping index is 129 and dressage index is 131.
Saluut is by the Holsteiner Ronald. Ronald produced 8 international jumping horses and has also produced the approved Holsteiner stallion Rantare. Rantare sired the Grand Prix jumper ATLAS. Ronald's sire Ramiro Z has sired 47 international jumpers, the most famous of which was the mare Ratina Z! Ramiro Z is also the leading producer of jumping horses in the last ten years. He is also known as a leading producer of quality mares including Zinia, keur pref (dam of Harmony). Zinia produced Dinia who produced I-premium second ring stallion imported to the USA and licensed by the NA/WPN.

R&B is a gorgeous TRUE BLACK Dutch Warmblood. Starting his career in eventing and then successfully competing as a jumper. he is now training in dressage. With a refined head, lovely sloping & free shoulder and his sire's powerful hind/compact frame, R&B is a powerhouse. (Ferro is known for passing on an ability to sit the hindquarter & a powerful engine/hind.) R&B is one of two approved sons of Ferro in the USA. R&B's dam is the only US bred mare to earn her Elite/Pref/Prest status!!
R&B was conceived via embryo transfer and was born on Easter Sunday 1998. In 1999 he was ranked #1 yearling in the US. At 3 yrs. he was taken to Holland for his keuring/stallion inspection. He was given Star status by the Dutch & went to Team Nijhof's for stallion test development. In 2002 R&B completed his stallion test in Prussendorf, Germany with excellent scores. Just as Ferro, R&B started his international career as a Jumper and is now settling back into dressage. R&B carries Ferro's high rideability, trainability, athleticism, and suppleness. As a young stallion R&B competed internationally in 3-Day Eventing and Dressage, winning nearly every competition and holding undefeated records. At present time he is working exclusively in Dressage, and will retun to the dressage ring in 2008! (Details soon) As a Jumper R&B had numerous championships at Level 4,5 & 6 Jumpers at Ocala HITS, Upperville, Raleigh, SwanLake, and Culpeper. R&B is a talented, scopey jumper with 3 good generous gaits, front end lightness and hind end power. R&B is also extremely supple with excellent talent for lateral work. R&B foals are very correct, showing uniformity in their lovely heads, short well muscled backs & powerful hind ends. Offspring are beautifully harmonious and soild in build, yet refined. Just as their sire, offspring show great aptitude for jumping and dressage. Offspring inherit R&B athleticism and brillaint, smooth movement in a three gaits (especially his often highly praised canter). R&B offspring have great presence & intelligence and are affectionate and eager to please. Through his outstanding foals, R&B is showing he is a true son of the great Ferro, reliably passing on Ferro's wonderful attributes to the next generation. Multiple Premium Awarded foals. Good choice for mares needing hind end or loin improvement, shortening of back/compaction of frame, and/or refinement. |
